How to Be the Creative Entrepreneur that Thrives in Challenges

How to be the creative entrepreneur that thrives in challenges? Creative Entrepreneurs will have challenges throughout their business journeys. šŸš§No matter what kind of business, there will be challenges. You only have two choices when it comes to dealing with them.

Either you will allow the fear and self-doubt to keep you from pursuing what you want, or you refuse to be intimidated by these challenges. A successful mindset and belief in yourself might even welcome obstacles. šŸ˜¶‍šŸŒ«ļø

Entrepreneurship is one of the most emotional careers. You might feel any number of emotions when you face difficult challenges and circumstances. āœØThriving with challenges means not letting your emotions affect your decisions.

When you accept the challenge for what it is - just part of doing business. It takes courage to admit that you are facing a challenge, trust yourself to identify the solution, and take action to make the changes that are needed and that matter to move past and on to your next step to your goal. šŸ’Ŗ

Maybe your business is still new, and you are not seeing success now; there’s no reason you stop working on getting the success you want. Even if you have been a creative business owner for years, there will be days, months, and heck years you will wonder if you make it and maybe even question if you should close your business. When you face the obstacle of clients not finding you, lack of money, or knowledge about a new idea, it's easy to let those negative thoughts enter your mind, DON'T. Instead, use the problem or challenge to fuelā›½ your desire and determination.

šŸ”ØChallenges help weed out the weak and unmotivated. They make those who are willing to push their boundaries, take risks, and work hard for their goals to stand out. They make those who dig in their heels and see the opportunities to build a stronger business that will thrive with a winning strategy even more so than before the challenge.

Make sure that you've got a group of people to who you can reach out to when setbacks show up. People that can be honest with you and let you wallow for a bit but then give you a kick to get up and then cheer you on. Build genuine relationships with other creative business owners that you can connect with or the successful people that you admire and that can provide you with valuable advice.

When you’re struggling with an šŸš§obstacle, keep your eyes on the goal and hold onto the reason why you want to start your business. Remembering why you're doing what you're doing is critical for staying motivated to succeed.

šŸ‘€Make sure that your focus is on the right things, mindset is a business strategy and is key when dealing with a challenge.  If negative thoughts come into your mind, stop yourself right there, let go of them and think about something positive. Negativity isn't welcome, but positivity is. A positive successful mindset will help find a new approach. Negativity breeds negativity, so when negative thoughts pop into your mind, kick those thoughts out, and cultivate more positive thoughts. When you have a negative mindset, you'll find it much harder to move forward. Remember, not all obstacles will leave you the winner. šŸ†When a challenge seems to be driving you to the point of overwhelm or you feel discouraged then it’s time to step back and determine whether it’s time to take a different path or create a new workflow or plan that leads you around this challenge. Every challenge we face is designed to teach us. Often if we don't see the lesson right now, the choices we make now to solve these challenges make us better business owners in the future.

An example of this would be if you are wanting to start a new business and you want to have it open on a certain date. Maybe you have a new service or product, and you want to offer or launch it before your next client inquiry, but something happens that prevents you from being able to do so. Embrace an alternative solution to this challenge by setting a new grand opening date and or waiting before offering it to new clients and use the extra time to add more to your project so it becomes even more valuable and profitable.
